WARM AND TURKEY DAY FOOTBALL
Now in the age of helicopter parents and kids sitting behind computers, playing on the gridiron is a far distant memory on Turkey Day.
But back in the 50s kids played ball and people came to see them.
Those who didn't could hear the games on WARM Radio.
Even that 3pm game in the dead of winter.
That we will never see again.

Has nothing at all to do why high school football is no longer played on Thanksgiving. The reason is because of the state play-off system. There are games coming up this weekend. A little factual accuracy would be nice.
