590 MIGHTY MEMORY #85

WARM 590 BACK ON THE AIR

The WARM frequency 590 is back on the air with music. While the power is not as potent as the old Mighty 590 which ruled the airwaves back in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, the music is back.

That comes courtesy of GEM 99 and 100 FM. Gem 99 & 100 covers much of Northeastern Pennsylvania and can be found on the following frequencies.

93.9 FM — The Abingtons

98.9 FM — Scranton / Lackawanna County

99.9 FM — Wilkes-Barre / Luzerne County

100.1 FM — Hazleton

100.9 FM — Tunkhannock / Wyoming and Susquehanna Counties

103.9 FM — Dushore / Sullivan County

And If You Like The “Classic” Sound of AM, or have trouble getting our FM Frequencies, try our AM Frequencies

WARM – AM 590 – Scranton

WGMF – AM 750 – Scranton

WGMM – AM 1460 – Tunkhannock

WGMA – AM 1490 – Hazleton

GEOS Communications is a group of radio stations in Northeastern Pennsylvania. WGMF/WGMM/WGMA/WGMF-FM is collectively known as Gem 99 & 100 and has AM and FM signals that reach Lackawanna, Luzerne, Sullivan, Susquehanna, and Wyoming counties. GEOS Communications is a locally owned family business.

GEM’s music mix is in a way a tribute to the music played on WARM’s storied history. The GEM format covers WARM’s big band and Sinatra era of the 40s and 50s, the excitement of the Beatles era as well as the continuation of music one can dance or relax to.

GEM’s on air staff is like many WARM personalities friendly, informative and knowledgeable about the music. While WARM is now a partner of Gem instead of a the stand alone icon it used to be (but really, what station in today’s market is truly independent) thanks to GEM, it’s owner Ben Smith and staff, WARM Radio is back with the hits playing.
